Jeremie Charron’s Recent Stories
Jeremie Charron is a Weekend Correspondent for CTV National News, based in Ottawa, where he covers significant stories unfolding in Canada’s National Capital Region.
Prior to joining CTV National News, Charron was an Anchor/Reporter with CTV News Ottawa, where he anchored evening newscasts and reported on major news in the city. Charron was a key part of CTV News’ coverage of the ‘Freedom Convoy’ protest in 2022.
Originally from Ottawa, Charron’s background in journalism is a mix of news and sports coverage. He began his career in radio, working with TSN 1200 and Newstalk 580 CFRA. His first on-air TV role was as a videojournalist with CTV News Winnipeg.
Charron is a graduate of the College of Sports Media in Toronto.
He speaks English and French.
