John Lovell To Assume Role As Travel Leaders Network President

Must read

John Lovell, CTC, will add to his current duties at Internova Travel Group and become President of Travel Leaders Network on January 1, 2025.

Travel Leaders Network says that since its formation, Lovell has had strategic oversight of the consortium and is heavily involved in its decision-making, with responsibility in the areas of strategic operations, P&L performance, partner sales and the overall growth of the organization.

The company says its continued expansion, coupled with its “more sophisticated and powerful agency network,” demands that Lovell take on a more active role.

The presidents of Roadtrips, which offers luxury travel packages to the world’s major sporting events, and Bonotel Exclusive Travel, an aggregator and wholesale distributor of branded and boutique luxury hotel rooms, will continue to report to Lovell.

Travel Leaders Network is one of the largest sellers of luxury travel, cruises and tours in the industry, representing approximately 5,700 travel agency locations across the United States and Canada.

“This is an exciting time to be part of Travel Leaders Network,” Lovell said. “Consumers are increasingly recognizing the benefits that come with using a skilled professional travel advisor to plan their trips. Travel advisors save time, get clients the best value for their money and provide peace of mind. They also open up a world of experiences for travellers that they might not find on their own.”

Prior to his role within the executive leadership of Internova Travel Group, Lovell served as President of Vacation.com and also held executive positions with ANC Rental Corporation and Renaissance Travel Solutions. He was inducted into the CLIA Hall of Fame earlier this year.

In 2015, Lovell founded the Family Bonds Foundation, the non-profit giving arm of Internova Travel Group that supports the charitable needs of those who work within the travel industry as well as the wider community.
