Sandro Kulenovic scored twice as Dinamo Zagreb came from behind against Slovan Bratislava to earn an impressive second Champions League win in a row.

David Strelec gave the hosts a dream start with a close-range finish in the fifth minute.

But the visitors hit back five minutes later after Dario Spikic’s deflected strike squeezed past Dominik Takac at his near post.

Slovan were aggrieved when referee Anthony Taylor failed to award a penalty, despite a lengthy video assistant referee (VAR) check, when Tigran Barseghyan was bundled over in the box by Takuya Ogiwara.

Petar Sucic completed the turnaround on the half-hour mark for Zagreb with a flicked header, before Kulenovic netted in the 54th minute after some poor defending.

The Croatian forward made it 4-1 with the goal of the evening, cutting inside on his right foot and beautifully curling the ball into the bottom corner.

With the three points, Zagreb jumped up the 10th in the table, while their Slovakian hosts remain bottom of the 36-team standings with no points.
