Alexandre Lacazette is still doing bits on the European stage.
The 33-year-old Lyon star doubled his side’s lead over Rangers before securing a brace on the stroke of half-time with a thunderbolt from outside the box.
Lacazette drove to his right as host defenders awarded him space and took a crack from range with the ball flying beyond Jack Butland into the top right corner.
It will go down as his 30th goal in Europe, and he is the first Lyon captain to score a brace in Europe since 2007.
