Here’s all your latest Liverpool transfer news. The Reds are reportedly ready to sanction a double first-team sale.
Liverpool ready to sanction double sale
New reports from Football Insider only serve to confirm the turnover rumours regarding Liverpool’s goalkeepers.
Reportedly, Liverpool are set to field interest in Alisson come the summer, with clubs in Saudi Arabia expected to compete to secure his services amid ‘concerns’ in the club’s medical department over his fitness.
Approaches from Saudi were made in the previous transfer window but were knocked back. With numerous Reds not being able to resist the astronomical wages offered by Saudi teams, it wouldn’t be surprising if Alisson were to join this list.
Rumours of interest by Barcelona have also followed Alisson around this year, with the Spanish giants facing goalkeeping issues of their own. The report states that ‘top European clubs’ are expected to be interested, so one can only assume they are part of this.
A separate Football Insider report also states that Liverpool will let Caoimhin Kelleher leave in the summer.

Lookman after move
According to Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg reporting that Ademola Lookman is open to a new challenge and a January move could be on the cards.
Lookman was linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer and it is no secret the Reds would be open to bolstering Slot’s attacking options.
The Nigerian international showcased his quality last season scoring a hat-trick in the Europa League final and he has Premier League experience as well as versatility on his side – being able to play everywhere across the front three.
In the past, he has been described as an ‘unbelievable’ player by his former manager Scott Parker while he was at Fulham.

Trent Alexander-Arnold decision made
Liverpool must brace themselves after a major Trent Alexander-Arnold decision was taken. The defender is out of contract next year.
The Athletic reports that Real Madrid have made Trent Alexander-Arnold their priority transfer target. Los Blancos need a right-back, of course, with Dani Carvajal having suffered a serious ACL injury.
There’s no guarantee that Carvajal will return the same player, forcing Real to enter the transfer market. The big question now is will they try to buy someone in January?
They have some targets in mind, certainly. Perdo Porro of Tottenham Hotspur and Jeremie Frimpong of Bayer Leverkusen make the list, as does Juanlu at Sevilla.
But it’s Alexander-Arnold who tops it. The Scouser is out of contract in June, allowing him to agree to a pre-contract with non-English clubs from January 1st.

Klopp work ‘unusable’
This summer, Martin Zubimendi was the one. Liverpool pulled out all the stops to get him, even offering to pay his release clause in full, but the Spaniard rejected them like everyone else.
There was no alternative this time around, either. Liverpool simply stuck with what they’ve got and there’s a good reason for this – their list wasn’t particularly long.
It can’t be, after all, given they’ve deemed the recruitment work done under Jurgen Klopp over the last few years is now ‘unusable’ in the position. That’s according to David Lynch, quoting a source at the club.
They’re completely correct to deem it unusable, too. Liverpool spent years trying to find Fabinho’s successor – a midfielder who could hold down the fort, shield the defence, and stop counter-attacks on his own.
