According to a report by La Voix du Nord journalist Florent Caffery, the Olympique Lyonnais coach was damaged during the channel crossing to the United Kingdom by Paris Saint-Germain supporters who were also present on the boat.
In a video detailing the damage, the Lyon coach can be seen covered in graffiti and stickers after it became the target of PSG supporters arriving in England to watch the Les Parisiens take on Arsenal tonight at the Emirates Stadium for the second game in this year’s Champions League campaign.
The Lyon coach was arriving ahead of Lyon’s match against Rangers in Glasgow on Thursday evening in the Europa League. Caffery reports that the captain of the boat had to intervene to prevent further damage from being done to the coach.

This is not the first time that unfortunate scheduling has caused problems. Last season there were clashes between Lyon and PSG supporters ahead of the Coupe de France final when coaches carrying the rival set of supporters accidentally came into contact.
