The Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight is proving to be one of the most highly anticipated boxing events of the year. It’s finally almost time for the heavyweight boxing “mega-event,” from Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP).

Tyson, now 58, is one of the most recognizable professional boxers in history. Paul, 27, has never faced a boxer as decorated as Tyson, but the question of Tyson’s age and the impact that could have in the physical damage in the fight has come up.

The fighters are already making headlines after the weigh-in on Thursday when Tyson slapped Paul in the face.

“I didn’t even feel it,” Paul said after it happened, being pulled away from each other by security. “He’s angry. He’s an angry little elf. Mike Tyson, I thought that was a cute slap, buddy, but tomorrow you’re getting knocked the f**k out.”

The Tyson vs. Paul fight is taking place on Friday, Nov. 15.

The preliminary card of Tyson vs. Paul fight will begin at 5:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. PT. The main card broadcast begins at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT.

The exact time the Tyson vs. Paul fight will start is not known, impacted by the other fights, but it’s expected to begin around 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT.

The other fights include:

The fight is being shown as a live broadcast on Netflix, with no addition fee for subscribers.

The fight will take place at the AT&T Stadium, the Arlington, Texas, home of the Dallas Cowboys.

The latest odds currently have Paul as the favourite in the fight, a -225 favourite according to ESPN Bet, versus Tyson at +175.

The sanctioned fight, approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations, will consist of eight two-minute rounds, instead of three-minute rounds, and both boxers will wear 14-ounce gloves, which are heavier than the standard gloves.
