Must read

All but two of the NFL’s 32 teams have opened up their 2024 campaigns, and the fallout from Week 1 is here.

From a few big injuries that could impact the Los Angeles Rams and Cleveland Browns, and nearly every fantasy league out there, to what’s next with the Tyreek Hill incident in Miami and the quarterback situation in Pittsburgh, it’s sure to be a busy week off the field.

Yahoo Sports has you covered with live updates, news and notes from around the league as the season is now underway.

In a blowout loss to Dallas, Browns tight end David Njoku left early with a lower leg injury that, according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport, could be a high ankle sprain. Njoku will undergo tests on Monday to confirm the extent of the injury.

Puka Nacua had four catches for 35 yards before leaving the Rams’ Sunday night loss to the Detroit Lions. He was carted off the sideline after the second quarter and did not return.

After a calf injury to Russell Wilson late in training camp put Justin Fields in the starting lineup for Week 1, the Steelers head into Week 2 with questions at quarterback after an 18-10 loss at Atlanta in which Fields threw for 157 yards.
