November began with weather that felt more like September, with abundant sunshine and record breaking warm temperatures. However, our mild fall weather is slowly fading and the final days of November will look and feel more like what we typically expect during November.

Friday
Friday will be mostly cloudy and windy with occasional showers. Temperatures will still be a couple degrees above normal, but we will also have a north wind gusting to 50 km/h throughout the day.
Scattered showers and windy conditions will continue through Friday night, but temperatures will remain above freezing, which is warmer than normal for this time of year.
Saturday
Saturday will be a blustery day with scattered showers. Much of the day will be rain-free, except for areas that are to the southeast of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay where showers will be more persistent
Temperatures will continue to be a few degrees above seasonal on Saturday, but that will be offset by a brisk northwest wind gusting to 40 km/h.
Some breaks in the clouds are expected for Saturday night and temperatures will be a couple degrees cooler. Scattered showers will linger southeast of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.

Sunday
The weather on Sunday will be slightly better for outdoor activities compared to Saturday, but it will still be a typical November day – mostly cloudy with some peeks of sun for areas near and south of the 401 with a brisk northwest wind.
Scattered showers are still possible southeast of Georgian Bay and across eastern Ontario, but most of southern Ontario will be dry through the day on Sunday.

Temperatures on Sunday will be more typical of early November rather than late November. However, if you will be outside for a few hours for a Santa Claus parade, warm layers are still recommended due to the chilly wind.
Another round of showers is expected for Sunday night and into Monday, and the rain could mix with wet snow across parts of Cottage Country and eastern Ontario.
Temperatures next week will slowly trend colder with near seasonal conditions expected for the second half of next week and next weekend.
Long range: Signs of snow creep into the forecast
We will be closely watching the track of a couple low pressure systems for the final days of November with the potential for a couple more periods of showers and possibly a mix of wet snow and rain, especially for areas to the north of Toronto.
Looking even further ahead to the first week of December, we expect temperatures will be near seasonal and possibly even a couple degrees colder than seasonal. If this pattern verifies as expected, then we could also be looking at our first significant snowfall of the season for parts of southern Ontario. Please check back for updates!
