The former Chapters bookstore located at 47-57 Rideau Street in Ottawa is set to be transformed into a concert hall.
Today, the National Capital Commission announced that they have signed a lease agreement with Live Nation Canada.
Live Nation Canada is a major entertainment company known worldwide. The NCC believes that this new concert hall, located near the ByWard Market, will bring vibrancy back to the downtown area.
The venue is scheduled to open by the end of 2025. Renovation work needs to be done on the building before it can open its doors to the public.
