Pedro Neto’s first Premier League goal for Chelsea earned the Blues a 1-1 draw against Arsenal on Sunday.
The former Wolves winger operated on the left wing during the first half, but his second-half strike came from a right-sided position.
Analysing the game on Match of the Day 2, ex-Watford striker Troy Deeney said being able to cut in off the right wing gives Neto more options to cause problems for opposing defenders.
He said: “If you’re a full-back and you’re thinking he could kick it and run, I’ve got trouble so I can’t get too close – but if you get really close to him, he can drop his shoulder and run in behind.
“Pace scares people.
“Coming in off that left foot, he can shoot or he can cross, but he’s also got that raw speed which is going to back defenders off.
“You can see what an acquisition he’s been for Chelsea.”
