A manhunt is underway after a suspected drive-by shooting at a residential property in west London.
A gunman fired at a house in Linden Road, Hampton at around 2.20am on Thursday.
Photos from the scene show shattered windows and damage to the front door of the property, with bullet casings scattered along the road.
Armed Metropolitan Police officers raced to the scene, which was cordoned off amid an investigation.
The targeted property is located on a leafy terraced street between Kempton Park Racecourse and Hampton Court Palace.
In a statement, the force said there are “no signs of any injured parties or suspects at the scene”.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “ A number of shots had been fired on Linden Road. A vehicle and a residential property were found to have sustained damage. There have been no arrests at this early stage. An investigation is underway.
“Anyone with information that can help police should call 101 ref CAD 606/31OCT.”
