Tre’Davious White is on the move again.

The Los Angeles Rams struck a deal to send the cornerback to the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday afternoon just ahead of the trade deadline, the teams announced. The Rams and Ravens will also swap future seventh-round draft picks as part of the deal, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

White signed a one-year, $4.25 million deal with the Rams this past offseason. He spent his first seven seasons in the league with the Buffalo Bills, who used the No. 27 overall pick on him in 2017 out of LSU.

White has recorded 12 total tackles in just four games for the Rams this fall. However, he’s not appeared in double-digit games since the 2021 campaign, either. He tore his right Achilles tendon last October, which knocked him out for most of the 2023 campaign.

White hasn’t played since Week 4 for the Rams and has been considered a healthy scratch after the team gave him permission to seek a trade. Rams coach Sean McVay called it a “not-ideal situation for him” in Los Angeles last month, too.

Now White will get to join the Ravens. They hold a 6-3 record and have won six of their last seven games while dominating in the AFC thanks in large part to a resurgence from running back Derrick Henry, who signed with the team this past offseason.

They currently sit just half of a game back from the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North standings. The Ravens will host the Cincinnati Bengals next on Thursday night.

Once White gets settled in, he’s sure to make an impact on their defense right away and help them on their quest to make a third straight playoff appearance.
