Real Madrid and Barcelona name XIs for Clásico showdown

One of the world’s biggest clashes will occur on Saturday as Real Madrid welcome rivals Barcelona to town.

The visitors hold a three-point lead in LaLiga over the second-place hosts, but the gap could get tighter if Los Blancos continue their unbeaten run.

Real Madrid are one game away from matching the all-time unbeaten run record in LaLiga, currently held by Barcelona (43 games).

Ahead of kick-off, host manager Carlo Ancelotti has named his starting XI with three changes from the Champions League comeback over Borussia Dortmund.

Summer signing Kylian Mbappé leads the way while Andriy Lunin replaces Thibaut Courtois (injured).

Aurélien Tchouamén and Eduardo Camavinga then come in for Luka Modrić and Rodrygo (injured).

Meanwhile, Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has also released his starting line up for El Clásico.

He’s opted to make no changes from their big Champions League win against Bayern Munich.

Raphinha will look to build on his hat trick from last time out while Pedri and Robert Lewandowski are also in action.

Buckle up!
