However, Il Messaggero reveals that, before Galatasaray’s offer arrived, the player’s entourage and the club were agreeing to a contract adjustment of 1 million euros per season.
The Turkish club’s offer therefore blocked the negotiations, with the parties returning to the negotiating table in recent days.
