OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The (RV) Ottawa University softball team fell 6-0 to no. 2 Oklahoma City University on Monday afternoon in game one of the NAIA Opening Round – Oklahoma City Bracket at Ann Lacy Stadium.
The Stars broke the scoreless tie in the top of the fifth inning with a three run home run by Iiliana Ashford. Ottawa tried to answer in the bottom of the fifth. The Braves loaded the bases but were not able to score and OCU led 3-0.
In the top of the seventh, Oklahoma City scored three runs to extend its lead to 6-0. The Braves were not able to rally in the bottom of the seventh and the Stars took the 6-0 victory.
