Ottawa police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of Soubere Yusuf Alki, who is wanted in connection to a shooting homicide.
Earlier this month, Adam Abduallahi Elmi, 28, was found by police near Carling and Kirkwood Avenue with gunshot wounds, he died later as a result of his injuries.
Alki is wanted for first degree murder. He is described as a Black male, 6’1”, 187 pounds, with dark eyes and hair.
Police have a separate Canada-wide warrant for 23-year-old Kennedid Atteyeh of Ottawa. He is wanted for accessory after the fact to murder as well as an upgraded charge of first degree murder.
Atteyeh is described as a Black male, 6’4” with dark eyes and short dark hair.
Police believe both men have left the country.
Officers are hoping the public can help them located Alki and Atteyeh.
