The grudge match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium delivered all of the excitement that is expected when these two teams meet.
A back and forth battle came down to a nail biter with seconds left and the Chiefs trailing. Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker once again shut the door on the Bengals with a last second field goal that cinched the win for the Chiefs.
The intensity of any games played between the Chiefs and the Bengals has ratcheted up to a whole new level since a Bengals player referred to the Chiefs’ home as Burrowhead before an AFC playoff game in 2022. The moniker plays off of the name of the Bengal’s quarterback Joe Burrow.
