Antonio Conte looks set to stick with the same Napoli line-up as the one that drew 0-0 with Juventus last weekend for Sunday’s visit from Monza in Serie A, with the Partenopei set to continue in a 4-3-3 to accommodate former Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay.
Conte explained last weekend that McTominay’s qualities inspired a change from a back three system to a 4-3-3, fitting in nicely alongside Stanislav Lobotka and Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa.
That same midfield is likely to sit behind a front three of Matteo Politano, Romelu Lukaku and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, although summer signing David Neres is also pushing for a start on one of the flanks.
Alex Meret remains out injured, so Elia Caprile will continue in the Partenopei net.
Monza are not expected to make too many changes from last week’s 2-1 loss against Bologna, although there could be space for the likes of Gianluca Caprari and Warren Bondo.
Kick-off is due at 19.45 BST.
