Well, the Colts get a bad news, good news sort of situation.
The Colts get a big win against the Steelers for sure.
Anthony Richardson injured in this game.
Joe Flacco comes out 16 to 26 100 and 68 yards, Joe Flacco out there doing Joe Flacco things.
Uh, but this is, this is worst case scenario again, Anthony Richardson needs to get in and play.
He’s been inconsistent when he does, they lose him, they win the game.
Uh, but if you’re the Colts today, you’re probably pretty worried about your quarterback and the frequency of the injuries.
Uh, yes, four out of eight games.
He has been knocked out, uh, before the end of the game hasn’t been able to finish.
Like that’s the thing now and you know, it was probably irresponsible for Shane Steer to put him right back in two plays after he obviously hurt his hip and then he just couldn’t run on it and it was a bad look there.
But the one thing I thought as somebody who, uh, maybe dabbled on the Pittsburgh Steelers today with Joe Flacco and I hate to say this, this kind of puts it into perspective when I saw Joe Flacco coming into the game.
I’m like, I’m screwed.
This is bad.
And how bad is that to say about a 39 year old guy coming in.
Anthony Richard is supposed to be your dude.
And yet I was much more worried with Joe Flacco’s coming into game because I knew what he was gonna do.
He’s gonna run that offense really well, he’s gonna complete passes, He’s gonna keep that team ahead of the chains and, and generally have a good offense where with Richardson it’s trick or treat right.
Like, oh, here’s a 65 yard pass down field and here’s an interception into triple coverage and Joe Flacco’s not gonna give that to you and at some point that there’s just gonna be a, a, like, should we play Joe Flacco?
Like he’s running the offense better if assuming Richardson’s injury isn’t serious.
It doesn’t seem to be.
I, I just don’t know, like you’re gonna, every single one of these bad performances by Anthony Richardson.
You’re gonna start to wonder if just he’s not ready yet.
