Tutu Atwell is in that offense.
It never made sense to me where they want to get these big burly guys blocking the 11.5 personnel kind of tight and then they get the tiniest, one of the tiniest receivers I’ve ever scouted who’s like a long speed guy and I was like, ok, maybe that’s Brandon Cooks role, I guess and I don’t know, they, they try to make him work.
They being Sean mcveigh and the, and the ramp staff and now because of injuries and because of Cooper cop and puiu injuries, this Rams offense who got a couple of linemen back this week, they actually were clicking a little bit as far as the run game, but also just using Atwell and Stafford had some faith in him and throwing him the ball early getting him throws on the move.
They were not, they’re not going like, hey, you’re gonna block anybody.
They, that’s truly never gonna ask him to do that, but it’s gonna be a lot of these types of games for him going forward as long as one of the other guys are hurt, the three catches for 80 yards.
You know, the four catches for, you know, a bomb and it’s all gonna be 15 plus yard play.
But I, I just think +22 out was actually a live one.
If you’re looking for some desperate, hey, I need a guy for a couple of weeks because it might be, again, it’s gonna be a high variance.
It’s gonna be based on what they can get.
But if this defense, what I think there is but I think they’re pretty mid and I think this offense is gonna be just always trying.
Stafford is gonna be back there whipping it.
He’s not a coward at all.
He doesn’t care.
Everybody else is hurt.
He’s still gonna try these throws.
So I think 22 Atwell is the beneficiary of that along with the running running game.
Of course, it does feel like we talk about designer targets and how you track those and things like that.
They are designing shots down the field.
422 Atwell.
Um and the more that th like they’re gonna need those shots, man because they’re not gonna get consistent.
I think separation and play from any of these wide receivers at this point.
