The three tribes ceased to be and an individual game began in the latest episode of “Survivor” Season 47.
Episode 6 of the long-running reality competition show, titled “Feel the FOMO,” had the remaining members of the three former tribes joining on one beach as the merge portion of the show loomed. But after a team challenge that then led to an individual challenge and tribal council for all the players, one person was voted out and the castaways were finally able to celebrate making it into the next phase of the game.
Now, both gameplay and challenges will become more individually focused, and the players voted out will form a jury that will ultimately choose the $1 million winner and the game’s “sole survivor.”
Now in its 47th season, “Survivor” has been on the air since 2000 and is hosted by Jeff Probst.

Who went home on ‘Survivor’ Season 47, Episode 6?
It was a near unanimous decision for the newly merged tribe mates who the target should be: Rome Cooney, a 30-year-old E-sports commentator from Phoenix.
Cooney immediately began to annoy other castaways with his brash personality and attempts to stir the pot about fellow players, and was unsuccessful in winning in the team challenge and individual immunity.
Other castaways, upset by Cooney’s antics, told him that Sol Yi, with whom he had butted heads before, was the choice to go home, but the majority instead agreed to secretly vote him out.
At tribal council, Cooney was so confident in Yi’s departure that he threw a vote on Sam Phalen. He was then completely blindsided by a majority of the other players.
As a safety net in case Cooney had an advantage, two players voted for Andy Rueda, but in the end, it was Cooney’s torch that was snuffed and he left the game, not making the jury.

Who went home last week on ‘Survivor’?
The Gata tribe lost the immunity challenge last week, coming in last in an obstacle course that involved cutting a rope, carrying a heavy net filled with coconuts and knocking down blocks and rebuilding them. Even after their successful negotiation with host Jeff Probst for eggs in exchange for their previously won chickens, their third-place finish lost them their flint (and ability to make fire), and earned them a trip to tribal council.
Sam Phalen conspired with alliance members Sierra Wright and Andy Rueda to take out Anika Dhar, much to the surprise of Rachel LaMont, who thought the tribe was in agreement to vote Rueda out.
Dhar was similarly blindsided, asking the tribe who orchestrated the vote and crying on her way out of the game.
