Ottawa police say an 18-year-old man was shot and killed around Percy and Nepean streets at about 9:45 p.m. Sunday.

They said in an email they don’t have a suspect in custody and their investigation continues.

Police are still in the process of notifying the victim’s family and aren’t ready to release his name, they said.

The scene is a residential area behind an elementary school a little more than a kilometre southwest of Parliament Hill.
