Aberdeen are celebrating an awards double, with Jimmy Thelin named Premiership manager of the month for October and Nicky Devlin taking the player prize.
Swede Thelin steered the Dons to wins over Hearts, Dundee United and Rangers as well as a 2-2 draw at Celtic Park in October to keep his side unbeaten in the league and only off the top on goal difference.
The Swede – who was also manager of the month in August – is joined among the awards by right-back Devlin, who has been a standout in Aberdeen’s flying start.
Devlin, 31, scored in the Pittodrie victories over Hearts and Rangers – taking his tally to four goals this season – and his form was recognised with a first Scotland call-up and debut in the Nations League draw with Portugal.
