Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback.

What’s the panic level on a guy like Patrick Mahomes, especially as we’re going into the Super Bowl rematch in this week.

Yeah, it’s funny this, this felt like the week in which fantasy analysts everywhere were just piling on Patrick Mahomes for whatever reason.

It’s obviously, it’s not as if he’s played through his ad P that definitely hasn’t happened.

Um We know the receiving room is not as expected after injuries to Rice to Hollywood Brown.

Um Mahomes only has six touchdown passes in five games, not great and the offense hasn’t yet reached 30 points also not great.

I do think he’s obviously he’s outgunned most weeks and he’s still making it work because the team is outstanding and he’s the most creative quarterback in the game.

Ultimately, I think I actually like Mahomes as a by low, so I’m not super panicked.

Um The likelihood that Kansas City adds a veteran receiver just seems too high just seems too great for me.

It’s, it’s such a good environment worthy is still a developing player.

Kelsey is still mostly Travis Kelsey.

Um also like for a team coming off a Super bowl win the schedule beyond this week isn’t too terrifying.

They have both Raiders matchups coming up.

They got Carolina coming up, they got Cleveland on the schedule.

So there are some really nice spots if they’re actually able to add somebody ahead of the trade deadline.

Uh, I, I feel like I, you know, we’re, I’m, I’m feeling ok about Patrick Mahomes.

Can he, can he justify like 1/4 round ad p No, probably not, but I, I still think he can finish top six at the position.

Yeah, I’m generally with you.

I don’t think he has a tier one ceiling.

I still view him as like a QB one rest of season.

I will say though Andy, you know, everyone’s the Chiefs got to trade for a receiver.

I I don’t know who that is like, I mean, yeah, that’d be great.

If somebody was just available, it would be great if a true number one receiver was just definitely on the market, but now that we’ve got Cooper and Adams out of the mix here, I don’t really know who that player is and I am.

It’s a little bit on my radar that we might get another Cada Tony type of trade like I referenced earlier, you know, some kind of reclamation project with speed but not really a true wide receiver.

Again, that is on my radar, but largely I am with you.

I think Patrick Holmes will be ok even if he doesn’t live up to his ad P.
