I mean, Sam D Arnold uh and, and the Vikings pull off a big win 2317 over San Francisco.

And sometimes look, it’s better to be lucky than good.

I say this all the time.

It’s better to be lucky than good.

There were several times in this game that I thought Brock Brock Purdy threw balls that would usually be complete and whether it was because they rubbed the balls in oil or they were playing hot, hot potato.

I don’t know, it just felt like several comple footballs suddenly became interceptions, but this Vikings team continues to be opportunistic.

This Vikings team continues to be efficient and Kevin o’connell continues to show that he’s capable of building a, a winning game plan.

I mean 2317 win against the 49er.

And suddenly we’re sitting here saying, man, maybe we thought the Vikings might be plucky and the Vikings might, that’d be plucky.

The Vikings might actually be really good.

Yeah, I, Kevin o’connell deserves all his flowers.

But I think the most interesting story developing now is Brian Flores.

He’s our defensive coordinator.

We all know what happened in Miami Sues the NFL, all the stuff comes out about him and Tua, obviously, Tua was not very happy with how Flores coached him, but Brian Flores is showing again.

He is a heck of an ex as a nose guy, especially on defensive end.

The 49er got their stats wise.

Right.

Jordan Mason got his 100 yards.

Bret Purdy, I think at 319.

But if you watch his game through three quarters, this was a real struggle for the 49er.

They were stuck on seven points.

This Vikings team is flying around.

They, you know, they did it against the Giants last week.

They’re like, uh whatever giants you do it against the 49er, that’s a different deal.

This Vikings defense improved by leaps and bounds last year.

Flores first year there, Flores is, it looks like he’s improving them again.

And at some point, we’re gonna have to have a conversation of do NFL owners just ignore what happened in Miami and the lawsuit which honors are gonna hold against him.

Let’s, let’s be honest, let’s be real like that.

That is going to be a AAA stopping point for some NFL owners.

Do they ignore all of that and give Brian Flores a second chance to be a head coach, uh because most people as coordinators or co as well get a chance to be a head coach or at least interviews.

I’m really fascinated to see as Brian Flores stories.

It goes, Vikings look good.

They’re, they’re first place right now.

In the NFC North who would have thought that right?

I mean, I was sitting here saying jokingly, I know, but I made the comment several times our very own Nate Ty on football 301 who does a great job breaking quarterbacks down has said clearly that he believes that the Vikings actually with Sam Arnold have a quarterback that can play in the NFL, that can be a good quality starter.

I sat there and watched a lot of the game today and thought, man, why did they draft JJ?

Like I know JJ is gonna be great.

Everybody loves it.

But I was watching, I was thinking damn like this, like this looks like somebody that I mean, good, good for Minnesota getting it done and, and look o’connell is getting so much street cred rightfully.

So there’s a reason that these guys got signed to new contracts when you got that guy.

You know, you got that guy, you will always have a chance if you have a coach as smart as Minnesota has right now.

Kudos and the Vikings, they’re one of the early season surprises.
