Awaiting the winner in Saturday’s final, set for 3:30 p.m. ET, will be Great Britain, who routed Germany 71-43 earlier on Thursday.
Either way, Canada will play for a medal for the first time since 2012 — the tail end of its run of three Paralympic golds and a silver in a span of four Games.
45-year-old star Pat Anderson, who helped Canada win all four of those medals, had 20 points and 20 rebounds in Tuesday’s 79-67 rout of the Netherlands in the quarterfinals.
