Dungannon Swifts manager Rodney McAree says he is “more than happy” after his side defeated Loughgall 2-0 at Lakeview Park.
The result means the Swifts move up to fifth place after back-to-back victories.
“In the end it was comfortable. You don’t often come here and win 2-0 and win handsomely,” McAree told BBC Sport NI.
“It’s always a battle and we knew coming here today we had to win the battle first and foremost and we did that.
“We’re more than happy. I don’t think we can pick out a poor player. If we want to be critical, we could have maybe been leaving scoring one or two more.”
Dungannon’s next league opponents, Glentoran, are a club that McAree knows well after being both manager and assistant manager in east Belfast
“We have had two great wins against teams we are going to be fighting with over the course of the season. It’s nice to be sitting in the top six at the moment, but we’ll not get too carried away after five games.
“We’ll do our homework on them [Glentoran] over the course of the week. I know Declan Devine has the capabilities of going three or four at the back with wing-backs.
“He has a good array of talent to choose from. A lot of attacking options that can hurt you so we’re going to have to be organised, disciplined and committed if we’re going to get something from it.”
