The trade deadline is here and, uh, see, Rob, you put out some names to watch one really interested me because II, I go back to what he was drafted and what we thought it was gonna mean for the franchise, uh, Travis Etn and the Jags, like, as much as we focus on Trevor Lawrence and what hasn’t gotten right gone right there with, with the Jags, like Trevor Lawrence and Travis E and together was supposed to be this special moment and now you’ve got him as a name to watch on the trade deadline.

Yeah.

And what’s interesting, this really should have been Christian Kirk, like that was the name to watch.

That was the guy they were gonna move, you know, Kirk being a piece that they couldn’t move.

And then I think Travis Etienne who’s been banged up this season, but really the reality is they’ve just been a better team with Tank Bigsby, like Tank Bigsby has taken away that job from Travis Etienne.

He’s a more physical player.

He’s got, um, just a burst and a spark to him.

I think when he’s had his big games, you’ve seen the entire offense change not only from the standpoint of how they scheme things, but from an energy level, you see the energy on that offense completely change.

And Etienne has not brought that wildly productive player, obviously Travis Etienne through the expanse of his career, both running and receiving dynamic player, but not someone who I think tonally changes doesn’t change the tone of the team the way that that tank Bigsby really has for running back like Travis et, and what’s a reasonable expectation for Jags fans and what they would get in return?

I think you could get a third round pick from the right team.

I just have a hard time figuring out what the right team is and I think that team invests that pick going.

We have them obviously for 2025 but we want to extend them.

We, we, we want do a deal with him, but at this point, he’s not healthy.

So really what you want to do is you want to see him in your scheme the remainder of this year.

If you like what you see, then you go to the table and you go, ok, let’s work out a modest contract extension, you know, into your late twenties and that’s the pick we’re ultimately picking up.

But again, I stared over and over again at, let me look at the teams that are kind of in it right now.

Where does he make sense?

It was hard to find a, a natural suitor, who did that didn’t already have assets at running back.
