This is the moment a howling pack of nine wolves surrounded a couple’s cabin late at night.
Michee Jules, 34, and his wife Maya Jules, 33, visited Quebec, Canada, in February to celebrate Michee’s birthday.
But Michee’s birthday celebrations took an unexpected turn when a pack of wolves appeared outside their cabin and began howling into the night.
The pair had been warned that there were wolves in the area but neither were expecting to see so many at once right outside the glass walls.
Michee, a photographer from New Jersey, said: “It felt so joyful to be able to watch these animals.”
“I love animals and my passion is to capture the moments while seeing them interacting in their natural environment.”
The pair stayed in the cabin for seven days but they reported seeing the wolves daily.
Michee said: “I couldn’t believe we were lucky enough to see the wolves so close up and so often.
“When I opened the door to the wolves, I was very surprised by their calm reaction.
“I still kept my distance but I wasn’t bothered nor did I feel threatened.
“I’d definitely go back to Canada again just for this experience alone.”
