If shoppers have one complaint, it’s the washing instructions (which some have laughed in the face of).

“I’m 75 and always cold. These sweats finally keep my legs warm. Very soft and snuggly. I am 5’6″ and weigh 130. The mediums fit snugly, but comfortably. Length is to the bottom of my ankles. I have washed them once. The tag says not to tumble dry. Are they insane? Sweats you can’t tumble dry? I dried them on medium for 20 minutes, turned them inside out and hung them to finish drying. They came out fine,” said one shopper who chose to throw caution to the wind. “You CAN tumble dry them.”

Results may vary, however, as this reviewer pointed out, “I was appalled to read the tag instructions for hand-washing only and no tumble-dry. How would these thick pants ever get dry and fluffy again? I have defied the tag and washed on gentle and dried on low. They shrunk another inch, so now hit me 4″ above the ankle. But—are so cozy. My intent is to wear only at home or when I’m feeling comfortable making a dorky fashion statement.”
