Current details:
Winter weather travel advisory in effect.
Hazards:
Locally heavy snowfall with total accumulations of 10 to 20 cm by Wednesday evening.
Reduced visibility at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.
Timing:
This afternoon through Wednesday.
Discussion:
Bands of lake effect snow will continue to affect the area through Wednesday. Heavy snow and local blowing snow can be expected at times.
Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather.
Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
