One person has been charged with impaired driving after an August crash of a car into a home in Lakeshore which sent four people to the hospital.
According to Essex County OPP, police initially responded just after 1 a.m. on August 12 for a report of a car that had crashed into a home on Highway 77 at County Road 8 in Staples.
Four people, including a 7-year-old child, were taken to hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening. No one in the home at the time of the crash was injured.
Police now say that last Friday, a 35-year-old London woman was arrested in Peel Region.
She has been charged with two counts of operation while impaired and one count each of dangerous operation causing bodily harm and driving while under suspension.
