OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University women’s basketball program is pleased to announce the signing of Anna Eldridge for the 2024-25 season. She is from Valley Center, Kan. and is a transfer from Butler Community College. Eldridge attended Valley Center High School.
Eldridge spent two seasons as a member of the Butler Community College women’s basketball program. She played in 59 games, making one start for the Grizzlies. Eldridge shot 46.4 percent from the floor, averaging 1.8 points and 1.4 rebounds per game.
At Valley Center High School, Eldridge lettered in basketball, volleyball, and track. She was a First and Second Team All-AVCTL Division 2 selection on the volleyball court and earned All-State honors her senior season. As a member of the VCHS girls basketball team, she was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Haven Tournament, the Kingman Tournament, and the Marion Classic. She was the 3 Point Shot Contest winner at the Marion Classic in 2020. Eldridge earned Honorable Mention All-Conference in 2021 and Second Team All-Conference in 2022. She was an Honorable Mention All-State selection. On the track, Eldridge was a region champion in the 100M hurdles in 2021. She qualified for the Kansas State Track and Field Meet three times, placing fourth in the 100M hurdles in 2022.
“We are so excited to be adding a veteran like Anna to our program,” said OU head women’s basketball coach Hunter Bondurant. “She has spent the last two season’s competing in the best JUCO conference in the country. She is a do it all type player who will bring a lot of JUICE to our program.”
Eldridge is the daughter of Chris and Marlissa Eldridge and plans to major in exercise science. She played travel ball for the Dream Team in MAYB under coach Sean Winter.
