Ottawa, Kan.- The Ottawa women’s bowling team is set to make another appearance at the NAIA National Championship- held this season from March 21-23 at Five Star Lanes in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
- The action will begin on Thursday, March 21 at 7 AM CST/8 AM ET with 24 baker games to seed the matchplay bracket. The bracket will begin at roughly 2 PM CST/3 PM ET on Thursday and is a double elimination format, finishing on March 23.
- This is the third appearance for the Ottawa women, with the last one coming just last season in 2023. Last year’s effort was a National Championship best for the Braves, finishing in T-fourth. Ottawa’s other appearance came in 2021, a T-11th place finish.
- Ottawa qualified for the tournament as an at-large. The tournament features six at-large qualifiers and six conference champions.
- Notable qualifiers include 2021 National Champions Indiana Tech, Collegiate Shoot-Out champions William Penn, and back-to-back defending National Champions as well as Bowlero Southern Classic and Glenn Carlson Invitational champions SCAD Savannah.
