Women’s Tennis Falls to (8) Loyola in the First Round of the NAIA National Tournament – Ottawa University

MOBILE, Ala. – The Ottawa University women’s tennis team ended its season with a 4-0 loss to no. 8 Loyola University (La.) on Tuesday afternoon at the NAIA National Championships.

Lily Keimig and Isidora Hrnjak fell 6-1 in their no. 2 doubles match to Elly Carpenter and Lucy Carpenter. Alejandra Parra and Paula Persson’s no. 1 doubles match went unfinished.

Parra lost her no. 3 singles match 6-0, 6-0 to Chloe Henderson. Keimig fell in her no. 5 singles match 6-0, 6-1 to Adele Ferenes.

The Braves finished their season with an overall record of 15-7 and earned a second place finish in the KCAC, qualifying for its second straight NAIA National Tournament.
