Woody Johnson reportedly nixed the trade because of Jerry Judy’s Madden rating.
Also, there’s other aspects from this article that are a little concerning about who is in charge with the Jets, if you ask me, um, berating players in the locker room, the owner, Woody Johnson, or one of his sons who I thought were older for a while.
I didn’t know they were like high schoolers, I had some influence on trades, making sure social media is in front of.

So you spend money and draft picks and assets.
To build this team that is, you know, headlined by Aaron Rodgers.
We all know what happened last year after 4 plays, but then you kind of double down on it this year with like a Devonte Adams trade.
Uh, you go out and sign John Simpson, who was the other player in the article where Woody was skeptical of his Madden rating, and he’s been one of the, yeah, if you’re controlling the player, the awareness rating doesn’t matter at all because you it’s your awareness rating, but Uh, it’s your skills, right?
It’s your stick skills.
Even with the, the Madden stuff, if you’re like following the timeline, that’s a precursor to Woody just walking in Robert Sa’s office.
And firing him without telling anybody, trying to shut down Joe Douglas for the year, then forcing Joe Douglas to trade for Devante Adams, while also in the middle of all this, he’s trying to bench Aaron Rodgers for Tyrod Taylor and also salvaging that relationship.
I’m like, Yo, Woody, chill out.
They have so many questions to answer.
They have a lot of money to sort around, uh, and they have an absolute madman running the show right now.
