WWE Survivor Series: WarGames is nearly here.
WWE’s final premium live event of 2024 goes down Saturday night at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada. For the third year in a row, the event is eschewing its classic Survivor Series setup in favor of two throwback WarGames matches, one on the men’s side and one on the women’s side. Originated in the summer of 1987 by WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, WarGames matches consist of two rings pushed together with one large, covered cage surrounding them. Competitors enter one at a time to build toward a five-on-five crescendo, which can be won by traditional pinfall or submission.
This year’s men’s match pits the OG Bloodline (along with CM Punk) against Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline (along with Bronson Reed). On the women’s side, a team led by Rhea Ripley takes on a team led by WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax and Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.
Three additional championship matches are featured on the card.
WWE Survivor Series: WarGames streams live Saturday on Peacock starting at 6 p.m. ET.
