One youth has been charged with a weapons offence in connection with an incident that led to a lockdown at a Regina high school on Friday.
Miller Comprehensive Catholic High School went into lockdown as a precautionary measure after police received a report just after 1 p.m. of two students being chased by two or three other people, who threatened to assault them with bear spray.
The caller said the people chasing the students were in the area of the College Avenue school and may have entered it, according to police.
The Regina Catholic School Division said the lockdown was lifted at about 3:20 p.m.
In an update Saturday, Regina police said no one was injured in the incident.
Three youths were arrested for possession of weapons, but two were released without charges, according to police.
One youth was charged with possession of a weapon. His first court appearance is set for Oct. 31, police said.
They did not indicate the ages of any of the youths arrested, or the ages of the students who were chased.
