πŸ“Έ Man Utd pair put troubles aside for Portugal’s opener vs Croatia πŸ’ͺ

Must read

It has been a tough week for everyone connected with Manchester United, but Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot have put that aside to combine for Portugal’s opener against Croatia.

It took just seven minutes as well. After some tidy play from Portugal, the ball came to Fernandes on the edge of the box, a position he has not found himself enough in United’s opening three league games.

He also showed his eye for a through ball that has not been evident of late, threading the ball into Diogo Dalot, who came across from the right-hand side to finish smartly from a tight angle with his left foot.

Could Erik ten Hag learn a thing or two from Roberto Martinez’s use of his two players, and maybe even the set-up of his side?

Not a question we thought we’d be asking so early into the new season, or in general!
